Nigerian-born UFC champion, Israel Adesanya, also known as the Last Stylebender, has sparked conversation with his candid remarks about women in Lagos.

In a video that has quickly gone viral, Adesanya, speaking in Yoruba, criticized the attitude of some women in Lagos, describing them as overly proud and often engaging in “runs” — a term used to describe transactional relationships.

“Lagos women like to feel themselves and are proud. Most of you are runs girls. I know the meaning of runs girls now. Kobo kobo, ashewo,” Adesanya said. He went on to challenge the culture of flaunting wealth and status, urging women to be more approachable and friendly. “You want to show off. Keep posing and showing off. Nonsense. Just be nice, be friendly, say hi,” he added.
