Thomas Tuchel Had A Secret Meeting With Sir Jim Ratcliffe

Thomas Tuchel and Sir Jim Ratcliffe held a private meeting in Monaco to discuss Tuchel’s potential plans for Manchester United if he were to replace Erik ten Hag as manager. Ten Hag’s future at the club is uncertain, and Tuchel is one of several candidates being considered for the position. During the meeting, Tuchel reportedly outlined his strategies for improving the team, including his plans for players like Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount.

Sancho has struggled since joining United in 2021, and it is reported that he would be sold if Ten Hag remains in charge. However, Tuchel is confident that he can help Sancho regain his form. Mount, who was injured for much of his first season at United, is another player that Tuchel is keen to work with again, having previously won the Champions League together at Chelsea.

Tuchel also cited Antonio Rudiger as an example of a player he has helped to reach their full potential. During their time together at Chelsea, Tuchel helped Rudiger become one of the best center-backs in Europe, and he later joined Real Madrid.

The meeting between Tuchel and Ratcliffe is significant because it indicates that Manchester United is seriously considering replacing Ten Hag, despite his recent FA Cup win. The club’s poor performance in the Premier League has led to widespread criticism, and it appears that they are looking for a manager who can help them compete at the highest level.

While there is no timeline for a final decision on Ten Hag’s future, it is expected that a decision will be made soon. If Tuchel were to be appointed as the new manager, he would face the challenge of turning around the team’s fortunes and restoring them to their former glory.
