Southern Kaduna Hospital Raided by Bandits: Six Dead, Multiple Abductions

A hospital in the Kallah Afogo Community of Kajuru Local Government Area, Southern Kaduna, was the scene of a brutal attack late Sunday night. Bandits, armed with guns and machetes, killed six people and kidnapped several others, including nurses and patients.

The attack, which occurred around 11:15 p.m., left the community in shock and fear. The victims of the attack include Garkuwa Alfarma, Buhari Maidiga, Uba Auta, Yakubu Gaku, and Atabata Naallah. A local resident who chased the bandits into the bush was also killed and his body mutilated.

In addition to the hospital raid, the bandits targeted homes in the vicinity, abducting more residents. The total number of kidnapped individuals is still being determined, but the incident has left the community devastated.

Community leaders have urged the government and security agencies to enhance security in the area and work towards the safe return of the abducted individuals. The Kaduna State Police Command has not yet responded to inquiries about the attack.
