PDP Launches Campaign Councils for Edo, Ondo Polls

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the inauguration of Governorship Election National Campaign Councils for Edo and Ondo states, slated for Thursday, June 27, 2024.
According to a statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba, the campaign councils will be inaugurated at the NEC Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, at 2 pm.
The move is aimed at bolstering the party’s chances in the upcoming governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states, scheduled for September 21st and November 16, 2024, respectively.
Asue Ighodalo and Ajayi Agboola have emerged as the PDP’s candidates for Edo and Ondo states, respectively, following primaries held earlier this year.
The inauguration of the campaign councils is seen as a strategic step towards galvanizing support for the party’s candidates and ensuring victory in the forthcoming elections.
All stakeholders, leaders, and members of the Edo and Ondo State Governorship Election National Campaign Councils have been directed to take note of the inauguration and attend accordingly.
