Onana Finally signed for Aston villa
Unai Emery strengthens his squad ahead of Aston Villa’s Champions League campaign. Villa signed two contracts this summer, with Juventus Enzo Bareneche and Luton Town’s Ross Buckley.
Onana made 72 appearances for Everton last season, including 37 appearances in all competitions, after joining Lille for a fee of £30 million in 2022.
The national team was eliminated by France in the last 16 rounds. Onana becomes Villa’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Len Archer and Jaden Philokine. If add-ons are included, Onana will be Villa’s second most expensive signing in history.
