My Daughter Was Asked to Inflate Contract from N3m to N33m-Pastor Adeboye

Pastor EA Adeboye

In a powerful revelation at the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) 72nd annual convention, Pastor Enoch Adeboye shed light on the deepening crisis of corruption in Nigeria. Speaking on August 10 at Redemption City in Ogun State, the esteemed General Overseer recounted an alarming story that highlights the nation’s moral decline.

Pastor Adeboye shared how his own daughter, awarded a contract to tar a road, was pressured to inflate her proposal from N3 million to a staggering N33 million. “She was shocked,” he said, “and turned down the offer, standing firm in her faith.”

He further revealed another instance where a different daughter in faith was awarded a road contract, only to discover the road had already been completed. When she reported the issue, she was advised to “collect her money and keep quiet.”

These revelations serve as a stark reminder of the rampant corruption eroding Nigeria’s moral fabric, even among those expected to be paragons of virtue. Pastor Adeboye’s account calls for urgent introspection and a return to integrity in the face of widespread compromise.
