Millwall goalkeeper ‘Matija Sarkic’ Passed Away On International Duty
The news of the sudden death of 26-year-old Matija Sarkic shocked the football world. Very sad. Sarkic’s decorated career was cut short when he fell ill in his apartment in Budva, Montenegro, and despite receiving immediate medical attention, he died at 6.30am local time. Sarkic has made a huge impact on world football, playing nine times for Montenegro and 33 times for Millwall since joining the club in August 2023.
