Luton Town Teammate Praises Victor Moses’ Premier League Quality
Luton Town midfielder Jordan Clark has expressed admiration for his teammate, Nigerian wing-back Victor Moses, highlighting the significant impact he has made since joining the club.
Moses, 33, returned to the English football scene after a stint at Spartak Moscow, joining Luton Town just before the recent transfer deadline. His experience includes notable tenures with Chelsea, Liverpool, Wigan Athletic, and Crystal Palace, culminating in a Premier League title win with Chelsea in 2017.
Clark commended Moses’ abilities following his impressive performance off the bench, where he scored a spectacular goal against Plymouth Argyle. “He brings undeniable quality to the team,” Clark stated. “With his extensive career, we’re fortunate to have him. He’s steadily getting fitter and has become a real threat on the pitch. His goal was a perfect example of the quality we need, which we may have been lacking. We hope his performance inspires the team as we look forward to upcoming matches and aim for victories.”
Head coach Rob Edwards also shared his thoughts on Moses, emphasizing his effectiveness when positioned higher up the pitch. “We aim to utilize his strengths by getting him in attacking positions as much as possible, whether as a winger or wing-back. That’s where he thrives,” Edwards remarked.
Despite Moses’ contributions, Luton Town faced a setback in their recent match, suffering a 2-0 defeat against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
